Crafting Candle Dreams
Briar Street Studio began in a 350-square-foot apartment on Briar Street in Chicago, a tiny space filled with a simple love for candles and a much bigger purpose behind them.

What started there has since followed me to Michigan. In the midst of a personal healing journey, I turned to scent as a way to feel grounded. Noticing the world around me and reconnecting with my senses played a huge role in that process. Lighting a candle became a daily ritual, one that helped me return to the present moment.
​
Briar Street Studio is rooted in that experience. Each candle is hand-poured with intention, designed to bring warmth to your home and offer comfort to anyone still finding theirs. A portion of every purchase goes toward supporting organizations that serve survivors of domestic violence, because healing should never be walked alone.
​
The name “Briar Street” will always be a nod to beginnings. It’s where I started fresh, started healing, and started dreaming of something more, even as that dream grows here in Michigan.
